Well, we finally made it to Oakland. Actually, we got in late Sunday night, but had a relaxing Labor Day picnic, and just hung out yesterday. I need my PC back up and running to get all the pictures up… unless someone knows an awesome Mac photo manager. (iPhoto doesn’t count.)

Anyway, I thought since I was surfing a bunch this morning, I’d post a couple of things.

First, there’s some shady shit going on in Pakistan these days… namely Bush giving millions in aid to the government who says they wouldn’t seek out Bin Laden if they knew he was in the country. Read more about it in this MetaFilter post.

Google unveils Image Labeler, a “game” that will eventually help the Google Image Search to be more accurate. Perhaps it’s this monitor, but every picture I labeled was absurdly small.

Census data for the top 100 cities, by decade, since 1790. Wow… Cleveland lost 200,000 people in the 70’s. That’s impressive.

Howdy y’all. Just thought you might like to know, we’re in Kalispell, Montana - which is now the home of Prussian Blue, the white supremacist teenage girl band. Seriously. They just moved here, and nicodemia found it in the news.

In other news, Glacier National Park is outrageously awesome, and we took many pictures. So is Montana as a whole, but more on that later. We opted for a hotel room last night in lieu of the fact we stunk, were cold, and wanted some actual beds. It turned out right nice.
