Is it OK to love Whole Foods? Boy, I sure hope so. I went into the brand new Oakland Whole Foods yesterday, and my eyes were as wide as saucers. Perhaps there’s not much more than the Berkeley store, but there isn’t a single aisle that’s cramped… it’s just a freakin’ food arena. Oh, and unlike every damn beverage store in the East Bay, they boast an array of Belgian ales. Sure, it’s overpriced, but if you’re in a hedonistic, gluttonous mood, it’s your one-stop-shop.
