Mornin’ y’all. It’s about time to renew web hosting for this puppy and I’m starting to wonder what else I could and should be doing with it. Got any suggestions? I’m sure it’ll take a few weeks for people to stroll on by the ol’ r3tr0 blog and notice this post - like some bar that used to be popular before the new one with 100 beers on tap opened up a block away. Nevertheless, give me some comments! What are you looking for in a blog or even just a site you visit regularly?
I’ve also determined I really hate some of the vocabulary associated with … *shudder* … blogging. See what I mean? No, I don’t “twitter”, which sounds like something that I’d need a clitoris to accomplish. (Forgive the vulgarity.) The only halfway decent term for this activity was what eventually became shortened to “blog” - web log. “I keep a web log of things.” That’s better.
Until I find a way to make this more enjoyable, here’s the same old format I’ve always had - covering the shit that only I care about.
I think there have been like 3 movies about the caldera in Yellowstone erupting and basically destroying America… and now we have this: a tight cluster of almost constant earthquakes right there. Do a Google news search and you’ll find that the media is aware of this as well.
