Install the firmware

  1. Switch the PS/2 off and take the card out of it.
  2. Choose the build that matches your SW_CFG2 switch: 16-bit (on) or 8-bit (off).
  3. Connect the USB-C port of the card to your computer.
  4. Hold the BOOT RP button and press RESET. Release both. A USB drive appears on your computer.
  5. Unzip the download and copy the .uf2 file onto that drive. The card restarts by itself when the copy ends.
  6. Unplug the cable, put the card back in the PS/2 (with the PS/2 off) and start it. Check the version on the screenpad, Others > Information, line FW:.

Warning. Never plug the card into the PS/2 while the USB-C cable is connected.

The full procedure, the CPLD update step by step and what each screen shows are in the documentation: Firmware and CPLD update. What changed in each version is in the release notes.
