Install the firmware
- Switch the PS/2 off and take the card out of it.
- Choose the build that matches your SW_CFG2 switch: 16-bit (on) or 8-bit (off).
- Connect the USB-C port of the card to your computer.
- Hold the BOOT RP button and press RESET. Release both. A USB drive appears on your computer.
- Unzip the download and copy the
.uf2file onto that drive. The card restarts by itself when the copy ends. - Unplug the cable, put the card back in the PS/2 (with the PS/2 off) and start it. Check the version on the screenpad, Others > Information, line FW:.
Warning. Never plug the card into the PS/2 while the USB-C cable is connected.
The full procedure, the CPLD update step by step and what each screen shows are in the documentation: Firmware and CPLD update. What changed in each version is in the release notes.
